Gate Information

We have TWO gate codes – one for the RESIDENTS, and another for the VENDORS.

Please safeguard our security by NOT giving out the resident code. 100% gate security is impossible without a human monitoring the gate. However, our gates are a good deterrent if we take some precautions and safeguard the codes.

Vendors we do business with on a regular basis have been notified of the code (UPS, Naples Daily News, Post Office, contract vendors, etc.). If there is someone you do business with on a REGULAR CONTRACT BASIS, pool maintenance, home watcher, etc., give them the VENDOR code. In the event of emergencies, such as plumbing problems, the vendor will need to call the homeowner from the gate callbox using the procedure below. These instructions are posted on the guardhouse.

PROCESS FOR VISITORS TO GAIN ENTRY

  • SCROLL to find homeowner’s name at call box.
  • FIRMLY punch in the 3-digit code shown with the homeowner’s name.
  • The entry system will connect to the homeowner’s phone.
  • When the resident answers, talk through the call box speaker and identify yourself.
  • If an error is made entering the code, press star (*) to clear wrong entry, and then enter the code again.
  • After 3 consecutive wrong entries, the entry system will go into a 3-minute ‘time-out’ as a security precaution against anyone trying to ‘guess’ a viable code.

PROCESS FOR RESIDENT TO ACTIVATE GATE WHEN CALLED

To activate the gate from your home, while your phone is still connected to your visitor at the gate, press 9 (nine) on the phone you chose to have registered in the gate database, either your landline, or cell phone.

*** For this system to work for you, it is necessary for Communications to have your local phone number of choice registered in the gate database.

RESIDENT GATE: residents may gain entrance at the right (south) gate using their RFID car tag. Replacement or additional tags are available for a small fee from Resort Management, 2685 Horseshoe Dr. S #215, Naples, FL 34104 (239-649-5526). If for some reason the resident gate (right side) does not open, PLEASE DO NOT ATTEMPT TO MANUALLY PUSH UP THE GATE. This is likely to cause costly damage. Pull to the other side of the driveway, and using the key pad, punch the numerical resident or vendor code on the key pad to gain entry

RESALE OF HOMES: Homeowners should instruct their realtor that it is forbidden to post either code at the gate. It is allowable to post the homeowner’s name and address regarding an open house. The realtor or homeowner will be responsible to be at the residence to admit prospective buyers.

For security, the gate codes are not printed. If you have forgotten what they are, please call a neighbor or a Board Member and identify yourself.
