MONTHLY NEIGHBORS’ NIGHTS

The Social Committee plans monthly get-togethers at the clubhouse to promote community interaction.  The dates, times and themes for events will be communicated via a flyer posted at the clubhouse and sent out through an email.  If you have ideas to expand on activities, or even want to host that event, contact Beth Cressy, 203-217-3623; [email protected].

YOU could add to the FUN by organizing a unique activity (like wine tasting or karaoke) or providing entertainment (share your hidden talent) or serving your specialty food items (chefs welcome to show off skills!). Start a regular event like a book club or an exercise group. You are encouraged to organize an activity you enjoy. Contact the Social Committee to help get you going.

Members of the Social Committee are always available to assist with set up and clean up at events. All basic supplies are provided in the clubhouse kitchen: tablecloths, plates, glasses, cups, napkins, plastic ware, name tags, and even decorations, if you want to use them.

CARD AND GAME NIGHT AT THE CLUBHOUSE a group meets on Wednesday nights at 7  pm to play the card games Hand & Foot.  New members are always welcome;  instruction and help is always available.  If you would enjoy a different card game, or games like Scrabble, Mexican Train Dominoes, Backgammon, etc.,  additional groups can be added.  Contact Beth Cressy at [email protected] or 203-217-3623.

LADIES LUNCHEONS Although not part of the Social Committee, from October to May, for many years, a monthly Ladies Luncheon is organized by Monica Feredjian.  Each of those months you will receive an email with information on the restaurant, and how to make your reservation with Monica.

If you have an idea, make it happen!  The Social Committee can help you get it started.
