Building & Grounds Update: Caring for Our Community Environment
Green Acres was at our community on Saturday, Feb 21st, 2026 to test the common irrigation sprinklers for proper watering pattern. If you see a sprinkler head in the common area that is not watering correctly, please contact Paul Williams, Chairperson of the Building and Grounds committee.
Community Appreciation & Clubhouse Update
Big thank you to everyone who helps this community in many ways. The following is this newsletter’s list of those who consistently help at our little piece of paradise!
Phoebe and Bill Bryzgalski – Bill needs no instruction, but helps consistently when needed, especially lately for help on the gate malfunctioning. Most know Phoebe as well, especially on the communications committee sending emails to the community, enabling gate pass coordination and providing Resident Directory updates. Thank you!
Annemarie Calkins – Anne took it upon herself to remove, wash and re-hang the curtains in the Clubhouse that separates the gym from the community room. It had been a long time since that’s been done, so it was well worth the effort. To help save money, Anne used a laundromat to wash and dry the very large and heavy drapes. Thank you!
Very honorable mentions – Thank you to all committee chairs and members for all your contributions to our community. A special thank you to Jeff & Jean Beckley and Joe & Cindy Melichar who are always willing and ready to help when needed. Cindy and Joe are not homeowners but are here regularly in the winter months!
